Angelic Dogs Training School has decided to move away from some of the older practices of training and introduce more personalised training from the start of 2008.

We will no longer be running courses of obedience classes.  The reason behind this decision comes after assessing the differences between our dogs from individual sessions and dogs from class situations.

Benefits seen from individual sessions:

Dogs learn alot quicker and have the opportunity to learn more.

More personal service covering exactly what you and your dog's needs are, including other areas of owning a dog not just training.

You have my undivided attention, catering for the individual not the class.

Even though we keep our classes small providing your dog with the best possible environment to learn, some dogs can still feel a little uncomfortable and distracted which can slow down their learning.  Therefore during an individual session they can concentrate and learn better.

Benefits from a class situation:

Provides an opportunity to practice exercises amongst distractions.

Provides a safe and controlled environment for your dog to socialise with other dogs and people.  

The New Package!

With these points in mind we have decided to offer a combination of the two.

There will be four 30 minute individual sessions and four 30 minute group socialisation/training sessions with other dogs and owners.  The group sessions will be informal where you will come along and practice exercises covered in your individual sessions and continue to socialise your dog.  I will be able to better observe how your training is going, offer advice and answer any questions during these sessions.  I also feel your dog will find this kind of group session more benefical as you will be working solely with your dog, rather than sharing your focus between your dog and my instruction.
